Colours and its meanings  in   life 


White
 Symbolic of purity and innocence. White has strong connotations of youth and purity. If you are an older person, your preference for white could indicate a desire for perfection and impossible ideals, maybe an attempt to recapture lost youth and freshness. It may also symbolize a desire for simplicity or the simple life.
Red
 Red is associated with Danger, passion, energy, warmth, adventure and optimism .Red signifies importance and power. In some cultures red denotes purity, joy and celebration The color of strength, health, and vitality, Red is often the color chosen by someone outgoing, aggressive, vigorous and impulsive. It goes with an ambitious nature. Red people are usually optimistic and can’t stand monotony; they are rather restless and not at all introspective, so they may be unaware of their own shortcomings. They find it hard to be objective and may blame others for any mishaps. Quiet people with a preference for red may feel the need for the warmth, strength and life-giving qualities of the color, or they blanket their true feelings under a sober exterior. Red is usually chosen by people with open and uncomplicated natures, with a zest for life.
Maroon
Harsh experience has probably matured the Maroon person into someone likable and generous. It is often a favorite color of someone who has been battered by life but has come through. It indicates a well-disciplined Red personality—one who has had difficult experiences and has not come through unmarked but who has grown and matured in the process.
Blue
Blue is calming. It can be strong and steadfast or light and friendly. Almost everyone likes some shade of the color blue. Blue suggests importance and confidence. It is a colour linked with intelligence and stability.
 Green
Green symbolizes life, growth, renewal and health. In contrast to this, green is used to represent jealousy or envy. It shows growth, health, environment, harmony.

Yellow
Yellow is a warm, cheerful colour. Yellow ribbons are worn as a sign of hope. It is a colour used on warning signs because we link it with danger. In Egypt yellow stands for mourning yet in Japan it means courage.

Orange
Orange is a warm and stimulating colour. It gives a feeling of energy and warmth. It is usually linked to the season of autumn. Orange is associated with Stability, reassurance, warmth, sunset, autumn leaves and it's also supposed to be an aid to digestion

Purple
Purple represents royalty in many cultures and it suggests nobility. In Thailand it is the colour of mourning. It means - royal, precious, romantic &sacred.

 

Pink

Pink  is associated with  Love, fresh, flirtatious and distinctly feminine. The colour pink has become very fashionable again and can be found ranging from soft pink to tropical coral or playful raspberry. Pink is a good colour for bedrooms as it can be peaceful and restful and if mixed with a hot fuchsia, introduce passion.

 

Black

Black is associated with Drama, death and eccentricity. It is a non-colour that absorbs colour and reflects nothing back. Black is associated with power and evils.
